Q: Why do i get a grack in the mortar joint of my tile in the corner of my shower?
A: This is a common problem, more in the winter, Most peaple don't realize that there home is always moving. Typically in the winter when it is dry, our homes will shrink. In the summer when we have more humudity out homes will expand. Where 2 walls meet, particularly where an outside & an inside wall meet, we can get the most movement. To combat this movement it is common & recommended to caulk the courners with silicon caulk!!
